Began Friday, May 1, 2020
Ended June 9, 2021. (It was great!)

The Coronavirus pandemic is intense. Would you like to talk truth to someone? To listen to another’s? To share your experience? To be heard, to be seen, to connect and be connected to? This group will be informed by NVC, at whatever level of understanding of NVC you bring, and will basically be an empathy circle, sharing our time and checking in on our hearts, bodies, minds, and souls. A free offering, donations appreciated.

UPDATE: Concluded on June 9, 2021, after 57 wonderful meetings!

Empathy Matters: The Nonviolent Communication (NVC) Model
How do we stop conflict? How do we find peace? Tina Taylor of Stress Solutions LLC in Corvallis will introduce the basic tenets of Nonviolent Communication. The NVC model is based on the belief that our natural state is one of Empathy, in which the heart and mind are nonjudgmental. Developed in the 1960s by Dr. Marshall Rosenberg, it is world renowned as a transformational tool of communication, used for personal growth, conflict resolution, relationship healing, and community building.
